Pets should only be given the Original Cloudberry/Lingonberry flavor Probita. Never give pets chocolate of any kind.***
Theobromine is classified as being methlxanthine, which is a cardiac stimulating agent. Cocoa powder - and all types of chocolate, for that matter - is dangerous to dogs because their theobromine metabolism process is significantly slower than that of humans. As a result, the process often interferes with kidneys, central nervous system and heart.
My Weimaraner, Romeo, recently had surgery. The first picture was taken the day of his surgery (Friday). Over the weekend my friend Di gave me some Probita to help him heal. I am not certain whether it's a coincidence or not, but that bruise was HALF what it was after only 24 hours on Probita and the incision was no longer inflamed. The next photo was taken following Thursday evening, just one week post surgery! He will be staying on 2 Probita a day for the next few weeks and then maybe we can go to 1 a day. The best part is that he thinks they are treats! -Kaye S., Chesapeake, VA
I have to share something with regard to our 15 year old puppy... she would not take the Probita chew - she licked it and left it - until she saw us taking it and she became interested. We eventually gave her a corner of it when we would have ours in the morning. Now, it has become too funny. This morning I got up and she was going nuts. I could not figure out what was going on... did she want to go out in the yard? - NO... she attacked me until I opened a chew and gave her the Probita she was craving! She now does the same to Sherrie as well - double dipping! We were quite concerned about all the bumps that were showing up on her little body… some were quite nasty, and some would bleed if bumped or getting her hair cut. Now Brandy has been on the Probita Chews for about 2 months. 90% of her bumps have completely disappeared, her hair is thicker and shinier, and she has energy to burn. Brandy is in amazing physical shape, she attacks us for Probita every day like she knows Probita is great for her. Thank you Probita... she will live a longer and more active life, and we can too!
Bonnie is 15 which is the equivalent of 105 in human terms since 1 of our years = 7 doggie years. Over a year ago when we took her for her annual check up we asked the vet how much time realistically she had left and were told ‘we don’t see many retrievers go past 14’. She definitely slowed down a bit but has got a new lease of life since we started giving her Probita. You’ll see from the video that she’s still pretty sprightly and her coat is in really good condition again now. Plus you’ll see that she’s mastered the art of eating her Probita in record time and without it getting stuck in her teeth! -Doug, Christina & Bonnie - UK
This is Winnie, an 8 year old female American Cocker Spaniel. She had spent her life as a "breeder" in a commercial puppy mill. She was rescued in July. When Winnie arrived she had a "milky" coating on her eyes, which I attributed to her age. Having seen what the Probita Collagen Chews were doing for so many others, I started giving both my dogs (20lbs and 24lbs) one chew per day. They LOVE PROBITA! It has been TWO WEEKS and Winnie's eyes are completely bright and clear. No more milky coating. I since dug out her old medical records from when I adopted her, and sure enough, she had M1 lenticular sclerosis. I did a little research and learned that "collagen is the major component of the white sclera and the clear cornea, both of which make up the outer coat of the eyeball." I will be taking her in to a new vet to have her eyes checked now and see what they find. I can only imagine all the things it is doing on the inside! - Mickey B, Toronto
Keeva is an 11 year old Yorkie who had such acute allergies that her skin was dry and flaky, causing incessant scratching that created bleeding sores. Keeva’s eyes watered, she had little energy, her hair had fallen out, leaving bald patches, and she had developed a persistent limp in her front leg. Within a few days of eating Probita Keeva was itching less, had more energy and wanted to socialize with the family. Within one week, her hair began to grow back and skin began to heal. Within a few weeks, she was able to jump on the furniture and run without a limp. She recently went to the vet and the doctor was astonished. No sores, no itching, no balding, no limp! –Darrin and Brenda G, Red Deer Alberta
